The features of the operating system of the device that makes it very remarkable is that it allows video conferences through audio, call merging, integration with phone functions which allows other related devices, cellular networking features, call holding and a caller identification. Visual voicemail that is also included allow users to view several lists of recent messages via voicemail on the screen without even having to connect through their voicemail numbers. Compared to other systems, messages can be “listened to” and be discarded in no chronological manner just by choosing the unwanted message on the screen list.
In order to accommodate the innovation of Apple to the operating system of iPhone, companies like O2 and AT&T modified the infrastructure of their voicemail. There came a time when lawsuits are filed against the joint incision of AT&T and of Apple because of some claims about visuals of voicemails which infringes patents of the two.
