With the increase of Internet credit card fraud it is important that we have checks in place to reduce the chances of fraudulent transactions. When using your credit card to purchase products through us it may be worth noting the following strategies we have employed to ensure your credit card transaction is legitimate. Use of FREE web based email We allow our customers to supply us with a free web based email address however it will be treated with caution. Close to 100% of all credit card fraud is committed using fake e-mails provided by free web based e-mail services such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, and many others. It is best for you and us that you use your ISP or work (if allowed) email address, we have a zero SPAM policy and will never sell email lists to others.

Post deliveries Where possible we use United Parcel Service of America (UPS) this means we will have a tracking number for the package on delivery. For large orders we may require packages to be signed for. Proof of identification must be shown on delivery for these special orders.

Large orders Large orders, and those with red flags, may be verified with the customer over the phone before the products are dispatched.

Address Verification Service AVS When a credit card is used we verify the credit card billing address with the address used for an order. We will also not allow shipping to an address other than that billing address. For our loyal customers we can bend that rule when requested by phone.

Credit Card Verification CVV2 When using a credit card transaction we also verify that you enter the proper security code from your credit card. This helps protect you and us from fraud.

Capturing of information We capture information such as your IP address so that it is possible to trace you back to your location at the time the transaction took place.
